The Evermore CID is working alongside the Gwinnett County Department of Community Services to develop the first “pocket park” in Gwinnett County. A pocket park is a small-scale public park space within a high-density commercial area. It will be located across from Lake Lucerne, adjacent to the Yellow River, and would be an ideal spot for light, unorganized recreation. This pocket park will serve as stopping point along the planned route for the Yellow River Scenic Trail. This trail will connect the Vecoma Park site with the River Bend Park site.
