During the removal of the reversible lane system along US 78, sidewalks were added to most areas of the CID. As an additional requirement, enhancements such as, pedestrian lighting, street furniture and landscaping were also incorporated into the overall program. Character improvements are regularly made to enhance the accessibility, safety, and aesthetic of the Highway 78 corridor.
