To improve mobility and interconnectivity within the US 78 corridor, a parallel roadway project is being constructed which will run from Hewatt Road to Britt Drive. The road will intersect with Parkwood Road, where a roundabout will be constructed. The project is currently under Right-Of-Way acquisition.
